Bernie is a very sweet boy in search of his perfect forever family. He is a 1 year old miniature poodle/westie mix with lots of energy! Bernie needs someone who has lots of time to spend with him and exercise him daily. Ideally, Bernie would go to a home where a family member is able to be with him most of the day as he struggles with separation anxiety and does not like it when the people he loves have to leave him. Bernie must go to a home with a physically fenced in yard as he can be a door dasher - no exceptions!

Bernie is housetrained and knows the commands sit, lay down, and come. He does well with other dogs and kids but has not been exposed to cats. Bernie loves to be in your lap as much as possible and will make someone a wonderful companion.
