Meet Hank, aka Hank the Tank, a 1 year old Boston Terrier that has found himself in rescue after his owners moved and could not take him along. He is feeling alittle overwhelmed with all the new changes happening in his life an we are hoping to find him a new home soon. He is a very sweet and gentle natured boy. He loves toys and bones and enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves walks and curling up under the blankets on his dog bed. *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
