Minnie is a sweet little puppy with SO much love to give! She is approximately 10 weeks and our best guess is that she is a Beagle mix - she currently weighs 8.6 pounds. Minnie is doing wonderful in foster care and is doing very well with her housetraining and is crate trained. She does great with the other dogs and even the cat. Minnie will need a family that has the time to spend with her and teach her lots of new things. Minnie is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and started on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Minnie is too young to be spayed but her spay surgery will be covered by the rescue when she is old enough. She must see the rescue's veterinarian in Brandon, SD so a local adoption is required. Minnie's adoption fee is $400 plus tax. More about MinnieGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
