Hunter is a super sweet Golden boy in search of his perfect forever family. He loves to play with toys and does great around the other dogs in his foster home. Hunter will need a family that has the time and patience to train a puppy. Hunter has done great around kids but may be a bit much for a home with super small/young children. Adoption Requirements:
Hunter is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, started on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. His neuter surgery will be covered by the rescue when he is 6-8 months old. His adoption fee is $650 plus tax. More about HunterGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Eager To Please, Goofy *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
