Burke is a playful and loving little puppy. He is working hard on his housetraining and doing very well - he also sleeps well in a crate at night. Burke loves people and other dogs. He would love to go to a home with a resident dog to play with. Burke will need a family with the time and patience required to raise a puppy. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Burke is up to date on vaccinations, current on monthly heartworm & flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $650 plus tax, which includes his neuter surgery at Horizon Pet Care in Brandon when age appropriate. More about BurkeGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Requires a yard *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
