Georgie is a sweet cavalier that came to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding facility. She is very, very skittish and needs ample time to acclimate to new people and surroundings. Living indoors as a house dog is all new to her - she will need a very patient family willing to give her the time she needs.

Georgie has done very well with her housetraining but will need continued consistency. Georgie connects with dogs better than people and would do best in a home with a confident resident dog.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe when outdoors (Georgie is very skittish and startles easily, she has never been on a harness & leash and will not go to the bathroom while on one).
Confident resident dog to continue to teach Georgie how to be a dog.
Quieter, adult-only home.

Georgie has been spayed and received a dental with extractions while in rescue. She tested negative for heartworm & tick borne diseases, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.
