Dixie is a little toy poodle in search of her forever family. She is a little sweetheart and has done really well while in foster care.

Dixie is crate trained and doing very well with her housetraining. She has learned to go up and down stairs and loves to explore in the backyard. Dixie loves to snuggle up and be in her foster mom's lap.

Unfortunately, all of Dixie's remaining teeth were horribly diseased and had to be extracted. Dixie doesn't let it hold her back and it is very clear that she feels SO much better without them - her appetite has improved immensely. Dixie is currently eating her dry food softened with warm water and a little canned food mixed in.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe when outside.
Quieter home, with older dog savvy kids only (ages 10 and up).
Similar sized resident dog preferred but not required.

Dixie has been spayed and received an extension dental with full mouth extractions. She tested negative for heartworm & tick borne diseases, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. We also ran a full panel of senior bloodwork and everything came back perfect :)

Her adoption fee is $450 plus tax.
