Meet Nova! Nova is an absolute delight be around and is also a distinguished leaf hunter when exploring outdoors. She will shred any leaves that are not good enough to be found in her yard! Nova is also a phenomenal cuddle bug when indoors, and will want nothing more than a warm spot next to her person. She is timid at first, but quickly adapts to change. Nova has started to try to play with the resident dogs in her foster home. When she gets tired she takes on the very serious role of "fun police". She will bark and let them know she is not having any of their nonsense ;) She is great with dogs, cats, and loves kids! Going down stairs is still a challenge for her so she will need someone who is patient with her but she does great going up stairs! ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Nova was recently spayed and had a dental. She tested negative for heartworm & tick borne diseases, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.
More about NovaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Cratetrained, Timid, Eager To Please, Gentle *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
