Charlotte is a beautiful cavalier who made her way to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding facility.

Charlotte came to rescue with a bad uterine infection called a pyometra. She was spayed and on antibiotics for several weeks - she is feeling SO much better. 

She is a very sweet girl but needs plenty of time to warm up to new people. Charlotte loves the other dogs in her foster home and absolutely needs a home with a confident resident dog. 

She has done very well with her housetrained and is crate trained.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - Charlotte is a breeder release dog and not familiar or comfortable walking on a harness/leash. A physical fence is required for her safety.
  • Confident, similar sized resident dog. 

Charlotte has been spayed and had a dental cleaning. She is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $600 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
