Dasher here! I came to SFCR to find a forever family of my very own.

I am a fun-loving havanese guy and sure know how to make my foster mom laugh!

I am now crate trained, and doing very well with my house training.

I love the cat and just want her to play with me so bad! I am not aggressive towards her at all, but will playfully chase and approach her. I might be a bit much for a cat who isn’t used to being around dogs. I would REALLY love to have another dog to play with.

I love toys of all kinds, snuggling with foster mom, and doing zoomies in the backyard with my sister, Tinsel. I am a very sweet puppy with so much personality.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard preferred.
  • Family with the time and patience needed to raise, train, and socialize a puppy.
  • Resident dog preferred.

Dasher has been neutered, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $700 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
