Archie is a very sweet cavalier in search of his forever family.

He is timid when meeting new people and didn't really care for having his picture taken.

Once he warms up, he wants nothing more than to be with you and loved on. He loves toys and all kinds of bones and chews. 

Archie is crate trained and has done very well with his housetraining on a consistent schedule.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Confident resident dog to help teach Archie how to be a dog. 

Archie has been neutered and also had a dental cleaning. He tested negative for heartworm, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $600 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
