If you are looking for an adorable, smart, and fun companion, Kindra, our 5-year old Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix), is definitely worth considering. Her name means “great Champion in Norwegian and her foster Mom feels it fits her perfectly. She may be only 7 lbs, but she girl is mighty and full of love and life. Kindra came from an unpleasant background but has shown amazing resilience during the past 7 weeks in her foster home. Her foster Mom and Dad have loved watching the transformation during the past three weeks she has been in foster care. She enjoys playing with toys and tears around the back yard. Kindra also has a very loving side and loves nothing better than to curl up on your lap or next you for pets and some belly rubs. She is an extremely quick learner. Even though she had never experienced stairs prior to rescue, she mastered them within the first hour of being in her foster home. This smart and sweet girl is almost completely housetrained, crate trained, and gently takes treats from your hand. Her foster mom plans to start working on leash training with her this week. Kindra’s coat is low maintenance and she is so good to let you bathe and brush her soft coat. Kindra would do best in a home with another confident, companion dog and older, dog-savvy children. We have no doubt that this sweet girl, with such an endearing personality, is going to make someone a wonderful forever companion!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically fenced in yard.
• Confident resident dog to help teach Kindra what being a dog is all about.

Kindra has been spayed and had a dental while in rescue. She tested negative for heartworm, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.
