Charlie is a very handsome cavalier fella. He is very affectionate and loves to be wherever his foster mom is. Charlie does have a grade III heart murmur but had an echocardiogram and it was determined that heart medications are not needed at this time. He will require chest radiographs and/or an echocardiogram every 6 months or so to keep an eye on things. Charlie does great with other dogs and is a very loving and social fella.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
