Sasha is a very sweet and endearing Cavalier. She arrived to rescue with a high grade heart murmur and radiographs revealed significant heart enlargement and even some congestion around her heart :(

She had an echocardiogram and has been started on Cardalis and Furosemide.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
