Pumpkin is a very cute French Bulldog in search of her forever family.

Pumpkin's skin was in terrible shape when she first arrived to rescue but after starting good food and receiving a few oatmeal/probiotic baths, she is looking and feeling great.

She does well with the other dogs in her foster home but doesn't always like to share her bed or toys. She is working hard on her housetraining, but it is still a work in progress. She will need continued consistency and patience.

*Pumpkin will be available after her spay/dental procedure scheduled on 5/7/25.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - leash/harness walking is still a work in progress and Pumpkin loves her newfound freedom. No invisible fences.
  • Patient family willing to continue her housetraining.

More about Pumpkin

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
