Ebony is a super sweet cavalier who came to SFCR as a breeder release. Ebony arrived with an audible heart murmur so a full heart work up/echocardiogram was pursued. Ebony is currently in stage B2 heart disease but due to the number of heart valves involved and the amount of dilation/thickening, Ebony will need another echocardiogram in 6 months. The cardiologist is concerned about progression of her disease so she will be monitored closely. Ebony is currently on Vetmedin and donations are always needed and appreciated to help us continue to care for dogs with extra needs like sweet little Ebony. More about EbonyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice.
