Sun is a sweet little puppy in search of her perfect forever family. She is working hard on her housetraining and is comfortable being crated when needed. Sun will need a family that has the time and patience to teach her manners and basic obedience. She will also require plenty of exercise! Sun is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, started on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. She will need to return to our rescue veterinarian at or around 6 months of age for her spay surgery - this will be covered by the rescue. Sun's adoption fee is $400 plus tax. More about SunGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
