Mason is just the sweetest little Cavalier boy around! That face - does it get any cuter?!? We think not!

Mason came to SFCR after spending the first 5 months of his life in a commercial breeding facility. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, do zoomies in the backyard, and is a total toy hog! He loves all toys - ropes, plush squeaky toys, nylabones, you name it - Mason loves it. He has done SO well with his housetraining and knows exactly what to do when brought outside. Mason is also crate trained and used to sleeping in a crate at night.

Mason loves to run around in his foster mom's fenced in backyard and would be very sad without this freedom. Leash walking is still a work in progress.

Mason is one of the best and will make a special family a really wonderful companion and family member.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Confident resident dog for Mason to play with (preferred)
  • Family with the time and patience required to raise, socialized, and train a puppy.

Mason has been neutered, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $750 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
