Olive came to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding facility. She is so friendly and loves her foster mom so very much. Olive loves to be with her people and is very affectionate and loving.

Olive would do best as an only dog as she gets possessive of food/treats and toys. She has a hard a time sharing with the other dogs and can be very intimidating.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - Olive is a breeder release dog and not familiar or comfortable walking on a harness/leash. A physical fence is required for her safety and comfort.
  • Olive needs to be the only dog in the home.

Olive has been spayed and received an extensive dental while in rescue. She is current on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
