Cavalier King Charles Spaniel : : Female (not spayed) : : Baby : : Small
Hey! I'm Libby. I'm a little cavalier puppy in search of my forever family. My foster mom calls me a sour patch puppy. I like to be in charge and put my brothers and sister in their place. I can be a little bit spicy but them I'm really sweet. I am ALWAYS sweet with foster mom though. She does feed me after all. I am crate trained and working on my housetraining. I have been using potty pads so far since I'm so little and it has been so darn cold outside! I must have a physically fenced in yard as leash walking is still a work in progress and I'm so little. I will also need a local adopter so that I can come back to the rescue's vet for my spay surgery when I'm old enough. I also have an umbilical hernia that will need to be repaired at the time of my spay.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. |
