Miles is a very loving and friendly cavalier. He loves everyone. 

He came to SFCR as a breeder release and is doing very well. He is ready to find a special family to call his own.

Miles does great with the other dogs in his foster home and mingles well with everyone. He adores the 7 year old boy in his foster home and would make a great dog for a family with older kids. 

He is doing excellent with his housetraining as long as he is kept on a schedule. 

Miles is a great fella who just loves to be loved by everybody.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe - no invisible fences. Leash/harness walking is still a work in progress.

Miles has been neutered and also had a dental with a few extractions. He tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
