Skip is one handsome cavalier fella in search of his forever family.

He came to SFCR as a breeder release and is loving life in his foster home. He mingles very well with the other dogs in the home and seems to love everyone.

Skip is crate trained and working on his housetraining. He is a very sweet and loving boy.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard preferred.
  • Skip would be happiest in a home with a canine companion.

Skip has been neutered and also had a dental. He tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
