Riley is a super sweet little Cavalier in search of her forever family. She is a very typical Cav, very affectionate (once she knows you) and loves dog beds and cozy blankets.

She does fabulous with the other dogs in her foster home and is doing great with her housetraining. 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - leash/harness walking is a work in progress. No invisible fences.
  • Riley would do best in a home with another dog to help boost her confidence.
  • Home without very young children (under 7 years old).

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
