Marge is a super sweet Cocker Spaniel in search of her forever family. She arrived to rescue with precious cargo on board and now that she’s raised her puppies and had her spay & dental, she’s ready to find her very own happy ending.

Marge does have vision impairments but it really doesn’t hold her back at all. She can even jump up on furniture and navigate stairs on her own now. She loves to snuggle with her foster mom more than anything!

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe. Being a breeder release and having vision impairments on top of it, a secure fence is a must.
  • Resident dog to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
